Getting to Tanzania

Most of our safaris begin in Arusha, so our guests will fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). This airport is serviced most conveniently by Delta/KLM, which now has five flights a day in, but Kenya Airways, Ethiopian Airlines, Turkish Airlines and Qatar Airways also offer flights into Kilimanjaro. Qatar Airways is particularly convenient for visitors coming from Asia or Australia.
Upon arrival, you will be picked up at the airport and transferred to an Arusha hotel for the evening, then depart on your safari vacation the next morning.

For safaris beginning in Dar es Salaam, whose international airport is serviced by KLM/Delta, Etihad, Emirates, Kenya Airways, EgyptAir, Turkish Airlines, South African Airways, RwandAir, Qatar Airways, Oman Air, Swiss and Ethiopian Airlines, you will usually be met at the airport upon arrival and taken to a local hotel for the evening before commencing your safari the next morning. Some flights arrive in time for you to depart to Selous the same day.
